Destiny of the Railforged, Launching February 2, 2026!

We are thrilled to announce that on February 2, 2026, we will be launching not one, but two massive content updates for Monster Train 2! Get ready for the next chapter with the paid DLC, Destiny of the Railforged, alongside a completely free content update for all Monster Train 2 players!

Monster Train 2’s first DLC will include…

• A completely new clan, The Railforged Clan: The combined genius of Herzal and Heph gives rise to a new clan made of soldiers of their own designs.
• A Brand New Final Boss and Enemies: The clans of Hell are threatened once more, this time by a new enemy from a new dimension. With Her comes new warriors and twisted angels hungry for revenge!
• New Roguelite Game Mode: This new mode challenges player strategy in a whole new way. With more enemies to battle, now the order you defeat bosses on the way to the final boss will impact rewards at the end. Collect and combine game-breaking power boosts for fresh, powerful runs!

All this and more awaits players on February 2, 2026 with the launch of Destiny of the Railforged!

Alongside the release of the DLC, we are excited to deliver a completely free update for all platers. On February 2nd, we are bringing back the beloved Wurmkin Clan! This addition will bring even more depth and replayability to your runs—no DLC required.
