Wanderlost is a peaceful, musical puzzle game where players explore dreamlike biomes, play with environmental instruments to unlock their musical mysteries, and create their own natural symphony in an immersive Virtual Reality experience. Developed as a prototype for all VR platforms, this Shiny Shoe original game transports players to a fantastic world where players can perform each virtual instrument using their hands.
Progressing through a variety of musically-focused puzzles, players will learn how to use each instrument. Then, players will be able to compose whatever music they want, limited only by their creativity.
Inspired by the popular ‘Twitch Plays’ genre, Death’s Door is a game you play collectively on a single live-streamed channel. More information is available on the official website.

GRIM FANDANGO REMASTERED
Working on the relaunch of this classic game in tandem with Double Fine Productions, our assignment was to help make Grim Fandango playable on modern platforms, updating many aspects while preserving essential visual elements that made this “dark comedy neo-noir adventure game” a fan favorite.
Game of Thrones
GAME OF THRONES: A TELLTALE GAMES SERIES
Shiny Shoe created 3D environment art for the first three episodes of Game of Thrones – A Telltale Games Series. Based on HBO’s award-winning drama, the game tells the story of House Forrester, caught up in the events of The War of the Five Kings. Players must do everything they can to prevent the house from meeting its doom and their actions and choices influence later events across the 6-episode arc. The game is playable on Windows, Mac OS X, PlayStation 3 & 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS and Android. Known for its episodic games, Telltale also developed the acclaimed video game spinoffs of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
Shiny Shoe’s most successful original game, players of all ages love this unique twist on Match-3, which features a whip-wielding treasure hunter, explosive gizmos (including Jeweldozers, Smart Bongs and a Monkey Storm!), plus over 100 challenging levels packed with treasures, traps and enemies.
Playable with friends on Facebook, Puzzle Raiders lets gamers compare progress, high scores, and send gifts to help each other on the journey for epic loot.
War Commander: Rogue Assault

Shiny Shoe worked with international online gaming powerhouse KIXEYE to introduce a new mobile version of this top-rated, action strategy game, which lets players battle, attacking and defending using unique land and air units on the world’s first fully 3D mobile RTS engine. We provided both engineering and art consulting, helping KIXEYE get the game off the ground and establish the core gameplay.
Batman: Arkham Underworld
BATMAN: ARKHAM UNDERWORLD – WB GAMES
WB Games contracted us to handle many aspects of the 3D environment featured in Batman: Arkham Underworld, one of their three new mobile games featuring innovative console game connectivity scheduled to launch in Fall of 2015.
With its deep player engagement, Batman: Arkham Underworld lets players build their own hideout, then recruit and train an army of henchmen to do their bidding, including super-villains like The Riddler, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc, as they fight to become Gotham City’s next criminal kingpin.
As consultants, one of our most interesting challenges has been to create an engaging “run-and-chase” game focusing on a seemingly mundane topic: data storage. For this assignment, we applied our numerous years of experience in the traditional game industry to a project that was a bit unusual.
MECHKNIGHT CHRONICLES: KNIGHTFALL
Shiny Shoe provided all gameplay engineering for this third-person action combat game for Dinosaur Entertainment, which features numerous player hero characters who fight their way through many levels while swinging swords, casting magic and “kicking butt.”
A great example of our approach to consulting projects, the development process included biweekly meetings, which allowed us to discuss, improve and iterate on the gameplay as we built it, keeping everyone involved on the same page.
Built on the Unity Platform, MechKnight Chronicles fully leverages our extensive 3D console game experience. We built both level and combat design tools for our client to enable their designers to create gripping action gameplay.
